June 2, 2017It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the end of the school year! Our hallways are bustling as students and teachers wrap up lessons and get ready for exams!
This is a good time to slow down and reflect on our blessings - and our challenges. We’ve certainly had a very full school year. We’ve come together to learn and grow, meet new friends while also enjoying lasting relationships… many that even span pre-K through grade 8! Most importantly, we have come together in prayer for one another. Our students and faculty have shared happy events, such as our recent First Communion, and we have supported each other through illness, tragedy and loss. Intentions continue to be added to our prayer box. Many students will ask me to include their mom/uncle/friend/etc. as we gather in the gym each morning.
As our school year comes to a close over these next few weeks, I ask that you join us in prayer for these intentions, now and throughout the summer. Please pray for our students; in particular, for one of our sixth graders who has recently been through a difficult surgery and is now on the road to recovery. She will not be able to come back to school for the rest of this school year but we all look forward to seeing her back at the end of August! Also, we ask you to pray for our graduates, the Class of 2017, that they may use their gifts wisely and walk into the future with faith, hope, and great love.

Announcements:- Reminder... When you place your order for uniforms for next year, please keep in mind: the gym sweatshirt is to be worn on gym days only; the 1/4 zip pullover & the vest may be worn during the school day; footwear with the regular uniform is to be solid black (including soles) and socks are to be solid black, white, gray or red (depending on the uniform style - see handbook for more info); any color sneakers may be worn with the gym uniform however socks on gym day are to be solid black or white only. Please call the office if you have any questions.
