Our 2016-2017 Basketball season will kick off this Saturday, November 19!  We have 4 teams consisting of students in grades 4-8, playing in the Catholic Athletic League (CAL), as well as an instructional program for grades 2 & 3.  Our coaching staff consists of a very dedicated group of volunteers who have been involved in an extensive training program.  We will be hosting many games in our school gym, starting tomorrow at 10am (Boys Junior Team) and 11am (Girls Junior Team), where all are welcome to attend and cheer on the FJVD Saints!  We wish our students athletes a successful basketball season!!!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the beautiful prayer, led by our fourth grade students during our Morning Prayer service on November 17, Principal Appreciation Day.   Every morning, we pray for the intentions in the hearts of our students and faculty.  I am grateful to have been included in their prayers.  In addition, students from all grades decorated a multitude of “daily bread bags” to be used in the Saints John & Paul Church “Our Daily Bread” program.  I am thrilled to pass these along to help this important ministry of our parish!  Thank you!
