Father John V. Doyle School has had a rich history of wonderful drama productions!  The drama program has grown over the years from it's start in the 1970's with  Oliver!under the direction of Mrs. Brusic along with Mr. McShane (former 7th grade teacher and current parishioner).  Since that time, and with help from family and parishioners, our students have enjoyed performing in a variety of different shows including  Godspell and  A Christmas Carol.  Our most recent production of  Beauty & the Beast, directed and choreographed by Mrs. Burns our 4th grade teacher, involved 50 students across grade levels.  


This year we are asking for parent and/or parishioner volunteers to take over our school’s spring drama production!  Our school is home to so many talented students who love to be on stage.  Maybe you used to dance and would be interested in choreographing the musical numbers.  Do you love to sing?  You might be a terrific person to musically direct.  Do you have an eye for scenery and artwork?  Perhaps you could be a set designer.  Love telling people what to do?  Then you may be a born director!  Please consider being a part of the team that makes all this happen!  Mrs. Burns will gladly provide you with all of her resources that she has used in the past for show selections, lighting, and sound systems.
