For over 20 years, Father John V. Doyle School has supported the  ‘Tis the Season Adopt-a-Family program.  This year, we continued the tradition with a twist!  We asked our school family to donate gift cards that can be used to help our less fortunate neighbors purchase the gifts and food they need to make their Christmas a joyous one!  Students and faculty added ornaments to classroom trees for every gift card that came in.  Grades 5-8 even held a ‘Tis Party, which turned their giving into a fun event!  Local families in need are grateful for the caring attitude demonstrated by our school community!

​In sporting news, it's hard to believe that our basketball season is halfway complete!  Father John V. Doyle School has always enjoyed a successful athletic program and this year is no exception!  School teams rely on volunteers as coaches, team moms, scorekeepers, and more.  We genuinely appreciate all the time and effort dedicated to teaching our students a love of the game as well as good sportsmanship!  Both boys and girls teams have experienced tough competition throughout the league.  Our students are learning to trust each other’s skills and play as a team.  Go Saints!
