Father John V. Doyle School held our first Dress for Charity Day in October. As a thank you for donating, students and faculty were given the opportunity to enjoy a “non-uniform day” paired with “craZy socks!” $263 was collected for “Keep the Heat On” which provides heating assistance to Rhode Islanders in need. The Diocese of Providence began this campaign in 2005 and has since provided more than $2 million in heating assistance to more than 9,300 RI households. The Father John V. Doyle School family is happy to make a difference in the lives of families and individuals through this program.
