October 14, 2016Dear Students, Families, & Friends,The Father John V. Doyle School Saints have enjoyed another successful Cross Country Season!
Our middle school girls defended their Southern Division Championship title andon October 12, placed 2nd in the CAL State Meet!!!The boy’s team was also well represented with top finishers each week throughout the regular season! 7th grader, Evan McG, came in at an impressive 2nd for the boys in the CAL State Meet!

Progress Reports for grades K-8 were sent home today, Friday, 10/14/16. Parent/Teacher Conference sign-up forms for grades K-5 were also sent home. Student/Parent/Teacher Conference sign-up forms will be sent home with Middle School students on Monday 10/17/16. The progress report signature receipt for all grades is due back on Monday 10/17/16 and the Conference forms are due Wednesday 10/19/16.

Now that Columbus Day has passed, shorts are no longer to be worn as part of the regular uniform. Also, gym uniform sweatpants are to be worn on gym days. Students may wear gym uniform shorts under their sweatpants in order for the shorts to be worn during gym class only.

For the safety of all of our students, cars may not drive next to the buses during dismissal as buses are loading.

The 5th Annual FJVD Walk-a-Thon will be held on Thursday 10/27! Information went out in an email on 10/13/16.

All students are expected to participate in Physical Education classes each week. A note from a student's doctor is required if a student cannot participate due to medical reasons.

PBruins Hockey Night, featuring a performance by the Singing Saints Chorus, will be Friday November 18, 2016! Everyone attending must purchase a ticket for $20. All students attending will receive a free soda, popcorn, and Providence Bruins hat.
- 1% of total sales (less fees and excluding tax and gift card purchases) will be donated to Father John V. Doyle School when you opt in, select our school and use your Red Robin Royalty® account at participating Red Robin locations.
